Tired of school, tired of Wylie, and even more tired at the thought of jumping in to college right after graduation. So, I unexpectedly googled "mission trips for a gap year." And there it was.... World Race. I was immediately interested. A chance to serve, travel, meet new people, and experience new cultures? Sign me up! And I applied. After eagerly waiting the result, the Lord opened this door and I was in!

I decided on Costa Rice because we will be doing outreach to the surfing community and painting murals which sounds right up my alley. Additionally, this will give me the chance to practice my Spanish more. July 2020 can't come fast enough! This trip will kick off my gap year before college with a trip of a lifetime.
