After beginning this process back in 2019, I am thrilled to announce that I’m fully funded for my trip to Costa Rica and Guatemala! God has been faithful through this entire journey, even when my original Summer 2020 trip was cancelled. Fundraising this amount was daunting and there were times when it felt like I would never reach my goal. However, God used people I would have never expected to help me get here. My parents’ friends, classmates, family, and my church has been an amazing support! Thank you all for praying for me and donating.
My group has received the official green light to leave on May 28! We will be in Jaco, Costa Rica during the month of June and then will travel to Guatemala for the month of July. My group will be focusing on community development, children’s ministry, and community outreach in Costa Rica. In Guatemala we will have the same purpose along with local church ministry. I am beyond excited to see the Lord’s love pour out through my team mates as we are the hands and feet of Jesus. I’m looking forward to sharing the joy of Christ with those I encounter and partnering with them in prayer. I still can’t believe that my entire focus will be on ministry for 2 months! I’m leaving behind what’s comfortable and chasing after what Jesus has called me to do. I’ve been praying that God will allow me to help others however I can and that I will begin this trip with an open mind to see God moving in my life and in others.

- Pray that we will be joyful servants for God and our eyes will be open to the needs of others
